The M Cell Missions

There are two types of characters in roleplaying games: player characters (PCs) and non-player characters (NPCs). Player characters are controlled by the people playing the game (players). NPCs are controlled by the referee (called the "Keeper of Arcane Lore" in Call of Cthulhu and Delta Green, or simply known as the "Keeper").

Delta Green Cell Structure

Characters (PCs and NPCs) belong to a "cell" if they are members of Delta Green. Otherwise they are listed as "Friendlies" or "Contacts".

• Delta Green is organized into a typical clandestine cell structure, with each cell designated by a single letter. Each Delta Green agent has a "codename" that begins with the first letter of their cell. "A Cell" consists of the agents who run Delta Green. Usually the members of one cell would only know of a single agent in the cell below theirs and the cell above theirs in the hierarchy, as well as the codenames of the agents in Cell A.
• Friendlies are people outside of Delta Green who know of the organization's existence and sometimes aid Delta Green agents. New agents usually start out as "friendlies".
• Contacts are people that the PCs know personally or professionally, or they are people PCs met through the course of their investigations.

As the PCs learn more about the Delta Green cell structure and encounter more NPCs, this section will expand.
