Indian Pictograph Cliff

Indian pictograph cliff

Image 1: Indian pictograph cliff. A cliff on the north shore of Lake Superior with pictures painted by natives over 500 years ago. The cliff is in a provincial park near Wawa, Ontario.

Friends beside the pictographs

Image 2: Friends standing beside the pictographs. You can see some of the pictographs in the foreground. We were all standing on a very narrow, wet ledge, with only a rope hanging nearby to help us if we slipped into the lake. The friends in the picture are, front to back, Lorna Toolis, Dave Nickle, and Michael Skeet.

These pictures were photographed with a Nikon F-601 camera and a Nikon f2.8 24mm - 50mm wide angle zoom lens, on September 6, 1994. Captured on Kodak Gold 200 film.
