Chancellor House ruin (25K)

Image 1: Chancellor House ruins. The ruined foundation of what was once the Chancellor House shows that the "mansion" was actually rather small. The open farmstead area that made up Chancellorsville is seen in the background. The unfortunate shadow in the foreground is from a tree.

Chancellorsville cannons (30K)

Image 2: Rifled cannons from around the Chancellorsville site. They mark Union artillery positions and are pointed roughly in the direction of Hazel Grove.

Chancellorsville introductory plaques (25K)

Image 3: A painting sits at the entrance to Chancellorsville. The painting describes the scene before Robert E. Lee as he entered the area while the trees around him were burning. The board beside it describes what happened at Chancellorsville.

These photographs were taken with a Nikon F-601 autofocus SLR, using a Nikkor 24mm - 50mm f2.8 wide angle zoom lens. The image was captured on Kodak Gold 200 film.
